We checked 93 rosés in stock for KSh 3,000 or less at the Nairobi shops we follow (standard 750 ml bottles, sweet ones left out). 50 have a Vivino rating we trust: a confident match with a current rating from at least 25 people. These are the top 20. 10 of the 20 are rated 3.8 or more on Vivino by at least 100 people; the others are marked.

A bottle can make the list when it is in stock, a standard 750 ml bottle, not sweet, and matched to Vivino with confidence and rated there by at least 25 people. Bottles rated 3.8 or more by at least 100 people come first; our own picks, Tom Gilbey’s top grade and Decanter medals of 90+ points for the vintage on sale count from 3.6. Within that, they’re ordered by Vivino rating, with ratings from only a few people counted for less, then by price.
